Lettings Charges

Below are the lettings charges for Kirkby Stephen Grammar School for 2011/2012

*Discounted rates apply to block bookings (i.e. five or more per school year.)
** It is anticipated that any hirer in future whose members join our Academy co-operative membership scheme, will also receive an additional 10% discount for all bookings.

Additional Information

All lettings are in line with the Governors’ Lettings Policy for all school facilities.
All lettings fees are exclusive of VAT where applicable.
Discounted rates do not apply after 21:30 on Monday to Thursday, on Fridays from 18:00 onwards, Saturdays and Sundays, or school holidays as these involve extra janitor, heating, lighting and cleaning costs.
Hire charges are slightly higher for larger rooms because of extra cleaning, lighting and heating costs.
Users must vacate the room(s) hired by the agreed time; otherwise additional costs may be incurred, charged at a half-hourly rate thereafter.
For functions where a bar is provided, a deposit of £125 is required. This is refundable but will be used to cover any costs due to damage or additional cleaning.
Individual groups are responsible for paying their own lettings fee.

These charges are subject to annual review by Governors.
