Pupil Premium 2011-12
Over the period September 2011 to August 2012 the school recieved £34,728 in Pupil Premium grant.
This was spent as follows:
- One-to-one tuition and intervention for disadvantaged pupils: £1,000
- Teaching maths at KS4 in 4 groups: £11,000
- Music tuition for disadvantaged pupils: £2,850
- Examination resit costs, curriculum materials and educational visits: £150
- Staffing costs - providing specific support to ensure attendance and attainment for disadvantaged pupils: £19,728
The effect on the educational attainment of disadvantaged pupils was as follows:
Attainment
Free School Meal / Children Looked After pupils achieved at GCSE as follows in 2012:
- 46% gained 5 A*-C GCSEs including English & Maths (7% above national average)
- Capped GCSE only point score = 211 (3 points above national average)
- Total point score - 425 (17 points above national average)
Progression
- 100% of disadvantaged pupils have entered training, Higher Education or Employment in 2011-12
- 0% NEETS (Not in Education, Employment or Training) according to Inspira data
