Kirkby Stephen Grammar School is committed to making the transition into secondary school as positive as possible and we are here to help you.
Year 6 students, by now should have started to think about starting their new school and as the year goes on will be feeling a mixture of excitement and nerves. That’s perfectly normal! I want you to know that we are excited about you joining us and are already making plans to welcome the class of September 2025 to your new school. The closing date for applications is at the end of October. Last year KSGS was oversubscribed. This year projected numbers are slightly above our intake, However, I am hopeful that all applicants will get the place they want.
